MS - HS ELA-S Resource
English Language Development & ELA S Resource
This is my 5th year at Noel Community Arts School. I initially joined the staff as a Math Fellow and then took on the position of ELA-S Resource teacher the following year. I have grown to love the community I serve and strive to best support our students. Being bilingual in English and Spanish myself, the work I do stays close to my heart. I am originally from Southern California and got my Bachelor’s at UC Santa Barbara. After college, I worked with students in a variety of capacities ranging from supporting the Special Education Community, being a reading tutor to teaching Mexican Folklorico within the community. I’ve been dancing for 12 years now and am actively involved with a few groups here in Denver. It’s a great way to get exercise and stay close to my Mexican heritage. Apart from work and dance, I also enjoy video games, hiking, musicals, running for long distances, and spending some quality time with my loved ones.
