I’m Grant Marsik, and this will be my 5th year here on the Montbello Campus! It’s my 8th year in Denver Public Schools, and my 18th year as a School Psychologist. I will be serving Noel Community Arts 4 days a week and DCIS-Montbello once a week. Professionally, I enjoy forming relationships with students and being an adult in the school to whom they can turn in times of need. My goal is to instill mental health, while modelling and teaching pro-social problem-solving behaviors. My formal education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Speech Pathology & Audiology from the Metropolitan State College of Denver (1997) and an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in School Psychology from the University of Colorado at Denver (2001). On a personal note, I’m a Colorado native and I love the outdoors! My wife and I, and our two sons (ages 18 & 16) enjoy camping, hiking, hunting, off-roading, skiing, and all manner of mountainous adventure! We are also involved in Boy Scouting. So, to support and fuel these passions, I also work a couple times a week at my favorite local outdoor retailer, Cabela’s in Lone Tree!
