My name is Danielle Peckman, and I will be the middle school’s Mild/Moderate Special Education teacher this year. I grew up in a small town in northern New Jersey, but this past year I chose to discover more of our world by living in Netanya, Israel and teaching English as a second language to 3rd-6th graders. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Developmental Psychology and a Master’s of Education in Instruction and Learning at the University of Pittsburgh. When I am not working, I enjoy reading, playing with my friends’ dogs, learning new recipes, and discovering my new home of Colorado. This will be my first year teaching in the United States, and I am very excited to meet my students and to be a part of the NCAS community.
