Drama & Theater

Students performing improv

In theater, students study the crafts of acting through a variety of methods. We study the fundamentals of improvisation through a series of exercises where students learn self-exploration and collaboration through various approaches and styles.

Students have the opportunity to perform in “Whose Line is it Anyway” type improv shows that occur on a monthly basis.

Our students also will study acting through a variety of voice/speech/movement exercises that support and enhance dramatic text. Students will participate in the production of a play, including creating original characters and writing and building a play from the ground up.
